Peak Audax CTC
Mill Meece Century
We up the distance to 100 miles for the second ride in Peak Audax's resumption of its cycling activities.
This is a great ride passing through Silverdale and Keele on the way to Eccleshall. We pass the Pumping Stations at Hatton and Mill Meece, both built over a century ago to supply water for the Potteries.
The return to Poynton calls at Audlem where you'll find one of our favourite cafes. The ride is fairly flat, but be prepared for some short climbs in the Silverdale area.
There is no ride HQ so we again start from a car park in Poynton, and we'll perhaps still have to reduce numbers of entries allowed, depending on any Covid restrictions applicable at the time.
