A non-Audax ride that you can undertake anytime it takes your fancy. Start from Massie Street car park (free on Sundays). Refreshments available at Bijou Cafe on Massie Street (closed Sundays and Mondays).
The ride has an optional climb of Swiss Hill, a notorious cobbled climb in Alderley Edge. Can you get up without having to walk? Once at the top the only way is down, a swooping tree-lined descent on Artists Lane. And don't worry, if you prefer to skip the climb (and descent), you can take the easier way along London Road to reach Nether Alderley.
